Commonly pronounced "zhee-clay" or "jee-clay", a giclee is an archival fine art print produced using pigment based inks. These inks are rated to be lightfast for over 100 years, and many museums now use this technology to archive copies of their orignal works. Giclee reproductions are so good that it's often difficult to recognize the orignal from the reproduction. At Luna7, we specialize in producing small run editions and work closely with the artist to insure each print is an important part of their body of work.

Giclee reproductions should be treated like original watercolors and framed behind glass and kept out of direct noon sunlight. A professional framer can assist you in displaying your giclee print properly.
